Football Data Analyst

About the Role

Join our Football Intelligence team to help professional clubs make smarter transfer decisions. You will work directly with scouting data, build analytical models, and translate complex datasets into actionable scouting insights.

Requirements

• •Deep knowledge of professional football — tactics, player evaluation, and transfer markets
• •2+ years experience in football analytics, scouting, or sports data science
• •Proficiency with data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, or similar)
• •Experience working with football data providers (Opta, StatsBomb, Wyscout, etc.)
• •Strong communication skills — ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• •Analyze player performance data across multiple leagues to identify transfer targets
• •Build and maintain player evaluation models aligned with club scouting philosophies
• •Collaborate with engineering to improve data pipelines and product features
• •Create scouting reports and data visualizations for internal and client use
• •Stay current with football analytics research and industry trends
